Hi, I see your concern about the C:\ folder filling up unexpectedly. You mentioned no new software installations and only system files and programs are present. The free space dropped from 162GB to 137GB over a few days without any changes. You've tried several fixes like disk cleanup, removing unnecessary files, clearing temp folders, and running scans, but nothing seems to work. It's frustrating since you haven't noticed anything unusual in the system folders or settings. Could you share more details about what you're seeing or any recent changes? Your help would be really appreciated. Thanks!
Did you test the disk cleanup tool after pushing system files with the admin badge? Typically, I see Windows Update files, older versions after larger updates, files pending delivery to Microsoft (often exceeding 1 GB), RAM dumps following crashes, and browser cache files. My Chrome profile folder once exceeded 30 GB... I had to reinstall because a Citrix product damaged my old Windows. Right now, I’m still missing some programs, and I have about 140 GB free out of 227 GB.
