It's a quirky little theme. At least they don't have to end the narrator's story this time. Laughing aside, her storytelling feels perfectly in line with the series. Very rich tone and British accent. I haven't played Humandkind or Millennia yet. I was planning to get distracted by other titles, they're still on my list, though I haven't even started Witcher 3 yet—though that one I bought xD. People have compared them, some as complaints and others as "maybe if done right." I'm cautiously optimistic. They seem determined to refine the formula this time. It's a solid strategy; letting things develop over a few years usually pays off in these games.

This game has been on my list for ages. I’ve probably gone through the first area several times, but I often lose track of things and miss the strategies until it’s too late. It’s quite a lengthy experience.

I’d be happy to ask anyone who’s hearing this to stop this whole idea. It’s really frustrating. I wish back then it was labeled as an Expansion Pack and provided enough material.

Yeah, I've been around for about 700 hours and counting. Climbing the learning curve can be tough at first, but once you start playing through some matches and losses, your first win really makes it click. It's a bit complex, but you'll get used to these five overlapping winning strategies. This is something you won't find in most RTS games. You need to keep an eye on everyone and their goals. I know it sounds confusing, but after going through the same experience, it really stands out. If you enjoy the Dune universe, reading some books might help you connect better. Although the developers made some changes—swapping gender and race for certain factions—the core elements remain strong. The community is small but active. Discord stays open, though content updates are infrequent (every 2-3 months). It would love more factions if you're looking for a challenge or want to play against AI.

I've only played Civ 2 MGE back when I was in college with my roommate, except for trying to grasp all the major updates over five versions. Nowadays, I don't play turn-based games much, and I rarely play 4X games. The last 4X experience I had was a zombie survival game called Rebuild 3 from about ten years ago.

Voted for the "don't know, don't care" option just because I intend to wait until I can buy a full edition under $20. I only got Civ VI recently, so I'm still enjoying a lot of gameplay. I don't like many of the updates, but it feels more like the content. I'm excited for Civ VII to be closer to the earlier style.
