For better performance across all games, I’ll consider upgrading to a GTX 970 or hold off until Pascal (1070?). I won’t be purchasing the highest-end GPU. Just a heads-up: “next gen graphics” doesn’t really apply to PCs! We’re not playing on consoles.

Got it downloaded. Only thing now is to wait for the release and I'll be sitting there playing it with my GTX 980.

The download size indicates the storage space required and the expected duration, unrelated to the graphics card you'll need. It should be available within a week, so waiting to evaluate benchmarks is sensible. I note this version is for Xbox 360 and PS3, and the system specs are surprisingly modest. I don’t anticipate another Crysis, honestly.
