Dead Space sends chills deep into me. Saints Row brings a laugh, though that’s not my main gaming preference. The second game is tough to navigate without running into danger and losing. Fallout and Skyrim are considered dull by some (caution advised!). I’ve installed the unofficial patch for Fallout and some mods for Skyrim, but overall the games feel unengaging. Solid, yet lacking excitement.

The first and third entries in Mass Effect refer to the original game and its sequel, respectively.

Explore a mix of classic and modern shooters such as Hard Reset, Shado Warrior, Serious Sam 3, and indie titles like FTL, Trine and Trine2. Don’t forget to check out the main DLCs for extra value. Play Civilization V for hours of single-player fun.

I think I've grasped what you need. I'll try to avoid repeating myself too much—this should make it easier to find trailers for these titles. Hotline Miami offers an intense 8-bit top-down action with a dark narrative. Wolfenstein The New Order was a solid shooter experience, especially against Nazis. Bioshock Infinite received praise for its storytelling. Singularity provided an engaging plot despite limited gameplay. Max Payne 3 offered a fun twist on time manipulation and shooting. The Wolf Among Us and Walking Dead series by Telltale have compelling stories but may lack depth in gameplay—still, they're worth a try. Fable 3 is straightforward yet offers a unique RPG feel. I just completed Spec Ops: the Line, which delivered on its shooter style with decent storytelling. It felt a bit unconventional but wasn't overly chaotic. Give these a look; you shouldn't be let down.

It seems you're interested in games that blend storytelling with engaging gameplay. Recently, one of the most impressive titles I've encountered didn't rely on exclusivity. It was "Child Of Light." I purchased the game and downloaded Uplay because of its quality. I also bought the soundtrack album. The experience was truly captivating, with exceptional narrative that often leaves you amazed. While I personally don’t enjoy turn-based combat, I found myself relying on quick actions to advance the plot. It's a compact game that demands an appreciation for artistic design and instrumental music. Enjoying it felt like stepping into a story-driven world, especially if you're drawn to Japanese culture and understand how dialogue systems work in those games—mostly through voice acting, with characters voiced only during cutscenes. The conversations are delivered in a whimsical, poetic style. Reading this review made me realize I might be coming across as a bit awkward. If you want, try it out with the lights dimmed—it can make the experience more immersive. I felt a stronger connection to these characters than to the long-running series I was used to.

Consider exploring some Blizzard games such as Diablo or Starcraft. From a story perspective, Starcraft stands out as a top choice, alongside Deus Ex and Saints Row.

I’d probably have to agree with you. I finished The Fallout series but lost interest in the later parts, especially in Vegas 3/4 and Skyrim. I overplayed it and quit. I’ve tried installing and playing again from scratch, but I just don’t feel like redoing the story. I’m looking for something fresh that really grabs my attention—something different, or at least more engaging than a lot of games right now.

You possess strong gameplay skills. After finishing Watchdogs, you found a solid narrative despite its risky premise. Online interactions can get tricky if you exploit NPC bank accounts, and Uplay feels quite frustrating. The game offers well-designed mechanics like climbing and stealth, inspired by Assassin’s Creed, though it isn’t a direct copy. If your PC supports it, the free digital version of the region is available for $25—worth trying. Other recommendations include the Dragon Age series, Civilization 5 (with all DLC), XCOM, Call of Cthulhu, Dark Corners of the Earth, Condemned: Criminal Origins, and Mass Effect, which performs better with mouse and keyboard.
