Hey everyone, I purchased my GTX 950 in March. I previously discussed its slow performance, but now I need more details about GTA V. At that time (March 12th), I managed to play GTA V at high to very high settings consistently at 60fps, although it would drop to around 50fps in city areas or when driving fast through densely built zones. I recorded a clip for friends; unfortunately, the frame counter didn’t appear. This happened during high to very high settings (except textures and shaders). Later, after the update with the new SLAMVAN, I recorded another video. I had to lower the settings slightly, but maintaining 60fps was still tough: https://youtu.be/7DqApUJrD2s It remained playable, though. Now, especially after the latest update, GTA V is running poorly on my PC—usually around 40 to 50 frames per second, often crashing to about 35fps across all settings. A friend mentioned similar issues, but theirs had a more powerful CPU and it didn’t affect their experience much. I’ve reinstalled Windows, tried various drivers, and even turned off overclocking, which only made things worse, so a strong CPU overclock seems unlikely. Have the other games kept performing like they did after installing my graphics card, while GTA V has really suffered?
