That would be useful, though since it's an emulator it's unclear exactly what it's doing.

To disable VSync in Cemu, navigate to the options menu and adjust the settings accordingly.

I turned it off in the Cemu menu and also in the NVIDIA Control Panel. The issue is that gsync functions well in games—like ME andromeda, which is quite intensive.

It seems there might be some confusion. While many of these discussions appear to involve Gsync and Cemu, the details aren't clear. Let me know if you'd like further clarification!

Ensure Gsync and VSync are active in the NVIDIA settings. Adjust your game's frame rate to roughly 4 FPS below your monitor’s refresh rate using the in-game limiter or a third-party tool. For NVIDIA Control Panel, use the hex edit method to activate the built-in FPS limiter. If you have a high refresh monitor and the game is capped at 60 FPS, limiting won’t be necessary. I enabled Gsync and it confirmed it works in fullscreen with Cemu. To activate the indicator, open NVIDIA Control Panel, choose a display option like resolution change, then pick the Gsync indicator.

Thanks for the clear breakdown. I have the pg 27aq (60hz, 4k, gsync, IPS) whose stand lights up red when Gsync is active. I’ll follow each step you suggest and let you know what happens. By the way, the game I play is Breath of the Wild.
