Yes, Free Office Mobile is read-only.

I changed from Windows 7 using Daz's loader to Windows 10, and everything seems fine except that the Office Mobile apps download as read-only, asking for a subscription. I’m not sure if this is typical or if there’s a fix available.

Microsoft Office is available for free, but you need to bypass the restrictions.

Online options aren't as effective as the desktop version, though I haven't downloaded it directly. I used Windows, which should include Office with it. It seems piracy isn't working as expected—I wonder why this isn't functioning properly.

My Microsoft account is linked to the laptop, and I even logged in using the Edge browser. I assumed this would help, but it didn’t.
