It looks like a gorgeous game. Why not on PC. I remember seeing a trailer reveal on PC. Does anybody know if it will be on PC? id love to play it but dont have a console and dont even think i could handle the 30fps and all at this point haha
It seems like the typical JRPG experience to me. However, if it’s released for PC, it might be a hidden console title, possibly exclusive for a few years. I should note there are other RPGs and JRPGs available on PC already, and Square’s offerings haven’t really impressed me lately.
I understand there are other excellent RPGs. I've enjoyed the Final Fantasy titles and appreciate the combat elements. The visuals are also impressive.
I accepted a PS4 (non-pro) to enjoy Bromance Road Trip Simulator, thinking it would better match the experience. I wasn’t impressed with the new combat system since it differed from what I was used to. The gameplay sometimes interfered with the cutscenes. When compared to a PC, I don’t have any complaints about the graphics. I’m unsure of the exact framerate, but it doesn’t seem to affect gameplay much. A minor annoyance is the loading time—it feels a bit too long. I’m not sure if switching from an HD to an SSD would really help, as other tests suggest it’s more about the system than the storage.
The HDR feature is hidden in the settings but not visible, likely because your device isn’t a HDR-capable model.
I'm in the same spot too, I really want to try this new FF now that I watched the Kingslaive movie. But I don't own either PS4 or Xone, and I'm not planning to get one. I've been hoping this game would come for PC, and I've had enough of the same disappointment with Red Dead Redemption 2 becoming a console-only title. Honestly, making games exclusive to consoles doesn't seem reasonable these days. I won't buy a console just to play a few titles that aren't available on my PC. With such simple setups now, using a TV and controller to play games while enjoying the same console experience feels unappealing. We should just keep hoping for the best.
