I appreciate the ongoing connections, it gives the impression you've reached the closing moments of the group with desperate final efforts. The problem lies in how every interaction turns into the same routine.

Typically long-running titles turn into major letdowns... like FFXV, Diablo, and several others I don’t remember the names of.

They're fine at first, but once the plot unfolds and the tension builds, it really gets frustrating for someone who wants everything wrapped up quickly.

Half-life 3... if it ever occurs without facing the same end, it might be the greatest thing ever... but still...

I played Far Cry 3 (my initial Far Cry title) and found it enjoyable at first but eventually lost interest and stopped playing. I didn’t feel motivated to continue with the subsequent Far Cry games since they all seemed similar. I chose Far Cry 5 because I wanted a shooter experience after my previous RPGs, and it surprised me how close it felt to the original. It had some engaging parts but also had several drawbacks:

1. Early in the game you get to decide whether to cuff or not, but later missions don’t let you make that choice (why am I forced to jump off a book?). Be firm with the developers.
2. Enemies are everywhere and can be frustrating—like being attacked by multiple trucks on the same road within seconds.
3. The weapons options were limited to automatic rifles, SMGs, and handguns (excluding shotguns and grenade launchers), which felt outdated.
4. Clearing areas often felt repetitive, with little time to explore before the next objective appears.

Are there additional mechanical problems affecting how the game functions? For instance, I struggle to move a boat two feet away from the water.

By the way, have you tried playing Far Cry Primal? I'm really thinking about getting it.

It’s the same on land—just stuck. If you need a companion fly, there’s no way to tell them to leave. I tried adding more weapons and inventory by collecting pelts, but once I got past that, I felt like progress was minimal and it got boring.
