I just changed from Wi-Fi to Ethernet connection. I purchased a Cat6 cable that’s 10 meters long, and now my internet speed is 300 Mbps. I’ve noticed my computer freezing randomly for about three seconds every half hour. This hasn’t happened before with Wi-Fi.

Revert to WiFi to check if the problem resolves. It might stem from a driver issue or a defective network interface card. NOTE: The physical cable is probably not responsible.
