An 80°C setup works just fine—swap the cooler only if it causes excessive noise, which would hinder real improvements beyond a modest 100MHz jump. Keeping the CPU under 60°C is essential even at higher voltages like 1.5V, since lower temperatures boost efficiency. Generally, aim for around 40°C, which is close to ambient limits based on location. At that point, an external radiator would be necessary. If you want marginally better performance with slightly lower temps, a good choice is the Arctic Freezer—it offers strong value and solid airflow for its price.

I live in Australia and the EK basic aio is actually 30aud cheaper than the artic, $80usd seems really good bang for buck I guess even if it drops the temps by 5degrees, oh also I am running the fan at 80% almost the whole time.

It's definitely a solid offer, but you might want to go for a 360mm model for better performance at colder temperatures.

My RTX 3080 would be better off with a front-mounted AIO since it could affect its thermal performance. The 240 model looks good, and the EK AIO comes with a 5-year warranty and is simpler to install than the Artic variant.
