Your PC seems to be handling the recording smoothly, but the discrepancy between the displayed and recorded frame rates might be due to encoding or playback settings. Check if the video codec is set correctly and whether any compression levels are affecting the output. Also, ensure your storage device is functioning properly with enough space.

I aim to minimize compression and preserve maximum quality. I’m using the Lagarith Lossless codec for this.

It seems like you're questioning whether the cracked version of Dxtory is a good idea, especially if the original paid for it. You wonder if the settings might be limiting it to 49 frames per second, and if recording at a higher frame rate makes it look smooth.

They don't cap the frame rate. I set it to 60 FPS. The display shows 47-49 FPS for "File," but I'm confused about whether it's actually 60 FPS or just a lower number.

I've previously worked with 60fps recording, but this feels unusual. Could you tell me which codec you're employing?

It seems the issue isn't with the file itself but possibly your storage device or recent changes. The speed dropped after an update, and the SSD might be affected. Checking if Mirilis action resolves it could help.

Why not capture everything in raw footage first? If the quality meets expectations, shadowplay could work perfectly. The 1080p/50Mbps/60FPS setup looks incredibly sharp—there’s no better option. Your SSD should handle this smoothly; the 850 Pro is fast, and most people would recommend shadowplay after reviewing your rig unless there’s a specific reason not to.
