I'm adjusting the voltage on my Ryzen 5600x CPU to lower it for better performance in hot weather. I'm using the Gigabyte B550 board and have set the core voltage to Normal with an offset of -0.096. After making these changes, I noticed some minor visual issues in the game. Could undervolting affect graphics performance or cause artifacts? It seems possible, but it might depend on the game.

25 cores is too harsh, 5600x isn't the best silicon, it causes crashes on my 5900x. Spot fixes this by using 2 cores at -15, and the rest at -25 or lower on the two worst ones.

It seems like the adjustments need careful consideration. A drop of 25 could be significant, while -30 appears to be a more reasonable limit. Trying -20 or variations like -18/-15 might work better.

Adjusting the negative curve offset can lower voltages and temperatures. I plan to test it soon once the CPU hits around 85°C during gaming, which is concerning since my previous Ryzen 3600xt never exceeded 65°C even in peak summer with the same cooler.

Absolutely, reducing voltages and temperatures on Zen Architecture is the most straightforward approach. An 85°C is acceptable, but minimizing heat output in a space is always beneficial.

I run Arctic MX4 with a X pattern and ambient temps between 38-40°C. The cooler fans are running at full speed.
