Apparently. This is one major gripe I have about PC (MR?) gaming. They don't realize that some of their "exclusives" are on console.

Are you referring to CS or CSGO? I thought CS began as a mod for Half-Life on PC.

It's a mod for HL on PC, yet I never realized the original version was made for the original Xbox. That's incredible!

I don't understand much. I'm not a first-person shooter player, so I'm not the right person to discuss. CS was essentially a modification of Half-Life's engine from what I recall. Valve took ownership in 2006 (probably around then) and kept developing it into what we now know as the most costly MMO combining FPS and RPG elements. That's a massive amount of money spent online.

Orange Box for PS3 was decent, but missing the keyboard and mouse made it less enjoyable. I enjoyed the original CS game, but disliked GO. The fans messed up my childhood Counter Strike LAN sessions.

I believe Valve had the rights well before 2006. Wikipedia mentions 2000, and it notes the port of the original Xbox came in 2003. Honestly, even BF2 was made available on consoles, while BC1 was the first full console release for BF.

I didn't quite recall the year, so I used the question mark.
