I believed it was an ECC setup combined with regular RAM, didn’t realize how they interacted, but it seems the device isn’t ECC by default. Still, a higher-quality package would perform better than using mismatched components, even at the same cost.

Both options fit within my budget nicely, so it doesn't matter which I choose.

Are you using even a mid level gpu? the cpu should never receive the highest workload in any game, my processor would surely do fine. It is mostly on the GPU and memory, which I believe I have covered, and if you believe I dont, please point that out to me. i'll message you back if i remember to tell you if it works. Plus, theres a thing called steamunlocked.net and fitgirl repacks. Edit: plus theres this https://support.robertsspaceindustries.c...quirements

My CPU shows a slight improvement on single-core tasks but struggles overall with a 30% drop in performance compared to yours, though the new clock speeds are similar. My GPU falls right between the minimum settings for Star Citizen and the suggested level, and benchmarks indicate my CPU would perform just fine. It also suggests 32 GB RAM is ideal. I'm ready to correct any mistakes if needed.
