Never tried BO3 (ofc) but ended up buying Ghosts since I remember COD 4 really well. All Call of Duty games after Modern Warfare have been disappointing, especially on PC. Slow servers, bad maps, poor performance, terrible singleplayer, and frustrating killstreaks—really hate the whole concept. I have to say I’m looking forward to Total Biscuits’ take if he takes the time.

Your equipment is quite powerful, and that CPU might be the reason you're not matching up with @GarnetDevil's setup.

I've never experienced a game running on an i5 that's overwhelmed, Jesus. As for the i7 4720HQ versus the 4570, it depends on your needs—both offer solid performance but in different ways.

I'm not having any issues other than a memory issue either (running a 4690k, albeit at 4.2ghz). I've crashed three times due to running out of memory (I've temporarily fixed it by dropping the settings and am now sitting at around 6gb~ usage), and everytime I restart the game my cpu usage spikes to 100% on all four cores and it locks up in the main menu for 30-90 seconds (after which it returns to normal and works fine). So, there's a memory issue, and some weird CPU usage after restarting from a crash. The final 'issue' I have is that there isn't a massive performance difference between ultra and low...which is pretty strange considering the difference in looks/memory usage (80~ with everything on ultra 1080p, 120~ with everything on low 1080p, both at 100FOV).
