Aye, they're not exactly going to ditch it. And from what some streamers have told me, AMD's DVR is a bit more mature than Nvidia's Shadowplay. Don't quote me on that though.

AMD isn't the owner of Raptr; the team behind it has the chance to improve it. DVR isn't exclusive to AMD either—you can run it with GeForce 600/700 cards too. http://raptr.com
