Are you referring to the 24-pin connector? Removing it can be tough; gently moving it sideways helps take it out.

Move it back and forth while stretching it (as illustrated in the well-edited photo), which should help in removing it.

It's really painful to move your hand while holding the lid and pulling back; I used rubber bands to help. Do you know if there are alternative methods to remove it without causing discomfort?

Are you certain the clip isn't attached? Using a tiny screwdriver can sometimes make it easier.
