Yes, you're correct. Around 5800x is a very powerful CPU, possibly even hotter than 5900x in terms of heat output.

The NH-D15 is clearly a strong option, though its price can rise significantly if you want black fans. The Scythe Mugen 5 works well but tends to be noisier. For AIO setups, a 240A model is recommended. Your current setup uses an older Corsair H100i Pro RGB XT for the 5900X, so upgrading to at least a 240A AIO would be wise.

Previously, I used a 280 AIO with matching temperatures, but it needed replacement since the Fractal Torrent case didn’t fit unless I removed the front 180mm fans. I discovered that undervolting was the most effective solution. If correct, I set a negative core voltage offset of 1000 mV and used the curve optimizer at -18 in PBO. This lowered temperatures by around 10°C during load without affecting performance. Before this, it often reached 90°C under load.
