A few weeks back, I attempted to put together a build using a Ryzen 3200G processor, a Gigabyte B450 D3SH Wi-Fi motherboard, 16 GB of Team T-Force RAM, and a WD Blue NVME SSD. I also had a Rosewill FBM-X2-400 case that came with a power supply. I would have liked a different PSU, but the case (which I liked) was only available with a specific PSU, so I had to accept it. The challenge was troubleshooting without being able to swap components easily. Things got even tougher due to pandemic-related shipping delays. I ordered a second D3SH WiFi motherboard, an Athlon 200GE CPU (to possibly update the BIOS), and a Thermaltake 500 Watt 80+ PSU. I thought I could just assemble a lower-powered system. When I tried the 3200G with the new motherboard, it worked fine. With the original board, the same PSU, RAM, and CPU, it wouldn’t boot at all—even the fan didn’t spin. This suggests the issue might be with the motherboard itself. I’m wondering if the missing storage drive is the problem, since I haven’t received the SSD yet. If that’s the case, I should initiate the RMA process with Gigabyte. Otherwise, I’ll need to contact them about other potential causes. Thanks.
