I thought this terrible and disappointing game has driven significant shifts in the gaming world—1. Pre-orders are down 2. Creators fear strong PC communities and backlash 3. UK Consumer Rights Act guarantees refunds for digital purchases http://www.which.co.uk/consumer-rights/r...rights-act 4. Numerous titles have been postponed to improve quality before launch, possibly making Batman: Arkham Knight one of the last poor AAA PC releases.

I've been using it since the latest update and it looks really good, even with my strong computer setup.

GTA IV performs poorly on PC, lagging behind GTA V significantly. The latest update doesn’t work well, and applying it is quite frustrating.

I believe it was a useful surprise for the developers and publishers who didn’t meet expectations. The same reaction occurred with Assassin's Creed Unity, but at the time there were no Steam Refunds, so it didn’t affect Ubisoft’s finances much. It mainly impacted their reputation and future sales. It won’t be the final time. In fact, 2014 was a really tough year, and things have improved since then.

I own the version with update 5, achieving around 60fps at 1080p. It performs well—90% of its capacity—using my GTX 670 SC (4GB), an i5-2500K @4.4, and 16GB RAM. However, adding too many mods simultaneously can cause crashes.

On GTA 4? It seems tricky, but you managed to get it running with your three installs and five hours of work. You also had to use the patch from GTA Inside since the official download wasn’t available!

Recent reports suggest a new update for Arkham Knight will be released soon, with discounts available again. The release date for the patch and the start of sales are expected to be towards the end of this month.

GTA IV is merely a poorly made experience. I still find it hard to believe IGN rated it a perfect 10 out of 10 at the time.

It definitely served as a solid illustration, and Steam's release timing was excellent, though this won't be the final one. Unfortunately, it's not the best experience either—it's a fairly decent game overall. I began playing it recently and had some enjoyment, but the lag remains quite noticeable.
