Yesterday I shared a problem where my PC unexpectedly shut down during a gaming session. It felt like a total power cut and restart. I suspected the PSU or UPS might be faulty after simulating several blackout scenarios. As with JonnyGuru's advice, a tripped PSU won't immediately bring it back online. I cleaned the RAM and slots, reinserted them correctly. Earlier, installing new fans caused a hand injury on the TridentZ horn, but I didn’t replace it. After nearly six hours of gaming and running both Memtest86 and Windows Memory Diagnostic, everything checked out fine. Could this sudden power issue stem from a misplaced RAM module?

Yes, it's feasible. A poor XMP can also lead to issues similar to what happened before I adjusted the timing manually.

It seems the issue was resolved once the RAM was re-seated.
