It's accurate that the factory rating applies when Turbo Boost is off and Multi-Core Enhancement is turned off. I missed noting that the 10900K consumes 125W compared to the 10700K and 10600K models. If you choose to keep the 5600 XT, 600W should suffice. For alternatives like a RTX 3070 or higher-end GPUs, a 750W would be suitable. If you opt for models such as RTX 3080, 3090 or RX 6900 XT, aim for around 850W.
I'll keep the 600w setup for now. Upgrading the PSU will happen once I have a new GPU, but I'm not sure about the costs or choices then.
The 10700K features a 125W power draw rating. You can modify the peak power usage based on your available power source. You don’t need to push it to full overclocking levels.
The Z490 model of Pro 4 isn't suited for a stock 10900K during Blender use. It also has trouble with an overclocked i5 10600K. While the CPU might not overheat during gaming, adding a fan above the VRM would be beneficial for the B460M setup.
Not ideal for this hardware. Poor build quality and somewhat outdated platform with double forward on the main side.
