It's common for games to run smoothly at 1080p while still feeling limited to around 60 fps. That's usually due to system performance or settings, not a problem with the game itself.

Skyrim's maximum setting at 60 is typical. You should be able to disable it via the configuration file in INI.

Check if V-Sync is active. On a 144Hz screen, exceeding 60 FPS in Skyrim is common. Share your system details.

Skyrim has a maximum of 60 frames per second, whether or not you're using VSync. I'm not familiar with Witcher 2.

Disable V-Sync. Expect higher than 60 FPS, though performance gains may be doubtful on a 60 Hz display.
