According to my calculations, sending 50 mbit would take just over five hours for 100 GB. Your average gamer stats might not be that quick—check if your provider has a quicker plan and compare the prices.

Comcast isn't providing the advertised 75 Mbps increase over 250 Mbps down speed. Their highest available upgrade is just 35 Mbps up for their Gigabit plan. The quickest upload speeds they've reported on coaxial cable are around 50Mbps, which came from WOW.

Maybe someone nearby has the premium plan and is downloading torrents? Who knows. Also, is this actual speed or just the results from Speedtest.net? I’ve heard Speedtest.net often gives inaccurate numbers. Can you check http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest and https://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest next time it feels sluggish? If I were you, I’d negotiate a better plan and see if the issue continues. Also, if you’re only testing wireless, could you try using a wired connection—even though it might mean moving the PC? I’ve seen people mention the WiFi on the Hub 3.0 can be inconsistent. You might also want to look at https://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Net...p/Wireless for more insights.

Paying 50 euros a month for basic internet in the Netherlands is quite costly. Locally, we only pay around 35 euros for top-tier service, which is typical. If we add another tier, it would cost about 400 euros, but that seems too much.
