I recently assembled my first gaming setup using a Ryzen 5 3600 and an RTX 2060. I’m monitoring temperatures with NZXT Cam and MSI Dragon Center after installing an aftermarket CPU cooler from Cooler Master. The cooler had some issues—its mounting bracket was flipped, so I had to remove it without taking off the thermal paste. Since I didn’t have Isopropyl alcohol on hand, I proceeded without measuring temperatures yet. My concern is whether a reading of 40-50°C is normal, especially given my climate where it can reach around 40°C but I have AC set to 24°C. What do you think?

Monitor Ryzen temperatures precisely using hwinfo64 or Ryzen Master. Idle performance remains typical, with no significant impact on stability. Cooling stays effective during low load.

Idle at 50° works well with a 60° load
