The simplest approach is to save just before a major match, then continue repeating the same match (abandon without saving) and address issues afterward.

The frame rate remains above 100 while experiencing steady reductions to 50, but any element involving physical forces such as suspended fabric or similar objects has become completely blocked.

The CPU isn't the issue. It worked fine with R9 280. I recently finished using it a few months ago, and even when physx was on low, it stayed at or near 60% capacity. I might download it later to see if adjustments are needed.
