I recently assembled a new gaming PC four days ago. All functions operated smoothly until now. When I left the machine, it was asleep and refused to wake up. The keyboard stopped flashing, and the monitor displayed no signal. I attempted to adjust the I/O buttons on the PSU and restart, but nothing changed. Eventually, I noticed the DRAM light was yellow. I tried swapping RAM modules into different slots and even placed a single stick in every slot, yet the PC still wouldn’t boot. After checking QVL, I discovered something unusual. I’m using Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3200C16W RAM (white) version 5.32, but on QVL it only shows CMK16GX4M2B3200C16 with version 4.24. Could this be the issue? If so, I’m curious why everything worked perfectly before. Thanks! ASUS PRIME X570 PRO RYZEN 7 3700X GIGABYTE RTX 2070 WINDFORCE 2X

Have you attempted to reinstall the CPU? It seems the RAM is functioning properly, so there’s no compatibility issue.

I haven't checked, I don't really believe it's a CPU issue, though who knows? By the way, I'm not seeing the CPU light on the motherboard, just some weird thing.

It seems Ryzen processors include memory controllers built directly onto the chip. Changing its placement might offer benefits beyond what you think.

I plan to attempt it tomorrow, but if the issue persists, what steps can I take to avoid it moving forward? I’d prefer not to have to replace the CPU regularly.

Sure, I noticed that worked for him too—it was similar to my setup.

I took the battery out for 15 minutes and it didn’t help. Feeling like I lost around $1500 for nothing... :/

Brand new RM 750X Actually everyting is brand new and it was working for few days, no high temps, no lags nothing, all games and other programs was running smooth. I didn't touch anything after i builded it. It just happend. I dont really want to waste any more money, but i think there's no any other option just to try buy new rams and hold fingers crossed for it to work
