Yellow Dram took the lead.
I've been there before... lots of times, honestly. Some things have been lost, broken... I even bent a motherboard with liquid nitrogen a few times. Keep it quiet, okay? I hope it works for you.
I’m not sure about that, but what do you mean by peripheral connections on an PSU? You seem to be asking about the cables or ports near the power supply unit. Let me know if you need more details!
Additionally, the yellow indicator is missing. Would it be better if it displayed green? And would there be any noise when powering on the PC? Is there a sound coming from the monitor speakers? I don’t hear any beeps. Does the beep originate from the monitor speakers?
No sound will play unless you connect a speaker to the motherboard. They aren't soldered onto the board anymore. The peripheral ports are meant for cables that came with the PSU for HDDs or Molex connectors for fans, etc. (extra power)
I believe I've identified the problem. The Core i5-9600 (3.1GHz, 65W, L3:9M, 6C rev.U0) needs a BIOS update to 2203 to run the 9600K CPU model. That implies you'd need to buy an i3 8100 or g4900 processor to upgrade the BIOS for compatibility with the 9600K model.
Ugh, wow! I’m in the bios but my monitor is set to Mini DisplayPort. What’s going on? Also, I downloaded Windows from CD but haven’t installed it yet.
In your bios you need to access the boot tab. Choose boot over ride and select the DVD drive. When asked from the disk, press any key to proceed. You only have a few seconds to set it up. Great that it launched. I was concerned about the bios version since the board came with it. It seems everything is working fine now.
