XPS 13 9310 2-in-1 becomes unresponsive during startup after reinstalling drivers.
Recently I received the XPS from my girlfriend since she stopped using it. It hasn't been used for about a year. When I installed it, there were many critical updates for the system and drivers. After installing, the touchscreen and pen functions stopped working. I restarted the system, but things became worse. The computer wouldn't boot and stuck on the loading screen. I had to reinstall the OS. Then it got even more complicated. When trying to choose a partition where Windows should be installed, no drives appeared. After some searching, I realized I needed to add the drivers manually for RAID mode. I flashed the USB drive with the IRST-Drivers. Eventually, I was able to pick a partition to install Windows. I downloaded the Dell Updater software titled "Dell/Alienware Update Windows Universal." It asked for installation of around six drivers. When it tried to install them, four failed. The updater then instructed me to restart the system. After restarting, it displayed a BlueScreen of Death with the error "DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE" and kept freezing on the boot screen again, requiring another reinstall just like before. I've already tried everything—manually updating, downloading drivers, but I'm stuck. Anyone have any suggestions?
