I'm curious... can we find a method to apply the Windows XP start menu theme, taskbar, and window styles from XP into Windows 10? I'm specifically looking beyond UXStyle and Classicshell since they don't work for UWP apps or provide enough customization. Also, I want the color changes to update properly without needing a paid tool like StartIsBack.

The issue arises when performing certain actions; the start menu doesn't display Email and Internet separately from the rest, and the log and shutdown buttons aren't clearly separated. In Openshell, even with a darker blue icon theme, these elements don't update properly when adding or removing icons. I'm wondering if you could modify the code or find a free solution. Additionally, while the taskbar resembles XP, the title bars and borders remain inconsistent. If I use UXStyle, it only functions in file explorer and non-UWP applications. Stardock offers this feature but requires a subscription. Is there a free alternative available?
