Hi there, I just finished assembling my new PC. The parts I have are: i5 13600KF, RTX 3090, 32 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 at 3600mhz, ASUS PRIME Z690-P D4 with Intel Z690 Alder Lake socket, Windows 11, a 1200w PSU, updated BIOS, and all drivers current. When I tried to boot with the default XMP profile it didn’t work—only manual 2700Mhz settings succeeded. I’m new to PC building and my performance isn’t matching expectations. My CPU scored 12k on 3D Mark, but my Cinebench and Multi-thread scores are much lower. I got a 17k on 3D Mark and 18k on Multi-thread. Any suggestions?
When configured for 3600 and using the XMP profile, it will work smoothly on an Intel processor at that frequency.
