Received a 32GB Hyper X Fury 3200MHz kit with 3200MHz XMP enabled, but performance drops to 2666MHz. Applied both XMP and manual speed settings without success. Running an 8700 on an H370-I Gaming board from Asus—any advice?

Could be due to the H370 chipset having an 8700, which supports up to 2666MHz at launch.

At least the Ryzen 4000 model will arrive soon next year if you need 8 or 12 processing units.

I can only manage around 6 cores and 12 threads at most in my setup. The Ryzen options seem really appealing, but it's tough to figure out the best cooling solution because TDP values aren't consistent across different models.
