I have kingston fury KF552C36-16 ddr5 16x2 ram that should run at 5200mhz but its stuck at jedec since when i enable xmp it doesnt even post the dram and cpu debug lights just keep switching my motherboard is the gigabyte z790 gaming x rev 1.0 the ram sticks are inserted in A2 and B2 as stated in the manual but it doesnt work. Looking at the discussions, have you adjusted the RAM and CPU settings? Trying to adjust the clock speeds might help. It’s possible the CPU or motherboard has worn out before you applied the microcode updates.

Have you tried inputting the latency values yourself instead of selecting an XMP profile? Occasionally it does. Your memory controller might also be aging or worn out, requiring a slight increase in voltage. I had to adjust mine myself—your RAM was set for 1.25V, so try 1.255V or 1.26V, but not too high. This issue can also stem from degradation, which is common in Intel 13th and 14th generations, especially higher-end chips like yours. The main options are tightening the timings and boosting the voltage slightly.

It seems the 13th Gen i7 was not impacted by the issue, while the 13th Gen i9 was. The other chips from the 14th Generation were also affected.

Intel added extended warranty coverage, suggesting it might be impacted. The update is likely more relevant for high-power chips like the i9 series rather than standard models.

The current RAM voltage remains steady at 1.1 volts, and the voltage regulator is supplying additional power.

A few days into the update, it looks like the performance should run smoothly again. I was nervous about the change because I’ve had concerns before—especially since a previous update caused some issues. It’s been a bit of a close call, but now things seem stable.

It's possible to adjust RAM speeds manually, even without XMP support.

Without XMP, version 1.1 functions properly. Changing timing and RAM clock settings would require adjusting the voltage manually as well. Therefore, I suggested increasing the voltage slightly beyond what XMP specifies because memory controllers vary. If a BIOS update resolved the issue, that would be helpful.
