Hey there, I just acquired some hardware I found on YouTube—primarily for experimenting. It’s a PlexHD X79t motherboard paired with an E5 1680v2 Xeon processor. Yes, the Xeon consumes a lot of power, but it’s mostly just for tinkering. The issue I’m facing is that the CPU never reaches above 3.7GHz regardless of BIOS settings. I’ve fully unlocked the BIOS to check for hidden options. I’ve extended power limit durations and switched P and C states on and off, but still no improvement. If anyone has experience with these boards, any tips would be super helpful. Also, I attached a copy of the unlocked BIOS options file. Thanks!

I believe the issue lies with the board itself—it’s a low-quality product for a good reason.

Even with different BIOS configurations, the device can't exceed a maximum speed of 3.7GHz.

The board clearly lacks the capability for higher tasks.
