Same here, though I didn’t land the big bundle you grabbed earlier. Purchased the E5-2678V3 (12C/24T) for $85 and used the Miyconst BIOS microcode to unlock all cores at 3.3Ghz. The motherboard added another $99. I also bought desktop DDR3 1866 REDLINE Mushkin RAM for $120. It performs well with a Snowman 6 pipe dual 120mm cooler (about $27). Keeps under 63°C during Prime95 tests, idling around 20°C in normal conditions. CB R15 is 1830. This setup pairs nicely with a solid GPU—RTX 2080 or 2080 Super won’t cause bottlenecks. For the price, the motherboard quality is top-notch (HuananZhi X99TF) and supports both DDR3 and DDR4 with dual banks and four slots each. It also includes two NVME M.2 ports plus a wifi slot. It offers great value for performance today, especially with some strong options from Ryzen. Depending on the region, the total cost is quite attractive.
