Hi, I think you might be in the right place. Recently, I've faced problems with my computer not shutting down properly from Windows or sleeping at all. It keeps entering a high-power mode with fans spinning nonstop and lights staying on. When trying to shut it down, the power button doesn’t work, so I have to disconnect it entirely. My last Windows setup wouldn’t start unless I recreated the EFI partition, likely because of too many hard shutdowns or something else. After a fresh install, the issue still exists with any PCIe slot or SSD. Other operating systems like Gparted or Windows Repair Tool worked fine when booted from USB without problems. I even reverted the BIOS, but it didn’t help. All other drives except the SSD were unplugged. This suggests a power-related problem between Windows and the motherboard, possibly causing it to stay awake. I’m unsure what to do next—any suggestions would be great.

Ah, sorry, didn't think anything beyond the motherboard was needed. It's a 2600X, Asrock X570 Phantom Gaming 4 mobo, S40G SSD, ADATA 32GB RAM, GTX 1060, TX850M PSU. Let me know if there's anything else you need to know.
