Are there any available lists or alternatives beyond the single AsRock option? Are there other MATX boards that work with Ryzen 3000 as is? What are the drawbacks of using B450 X470 boards, and are they truly fully compatible? I’m not necessarily planning an upgrade right now—my MSI B350 with R5 3600 is sufficient—but I was just searching for possibilities. I own a high-quality Inwin 301 case that I’m quite fond of and don’t see a need to replace it soon.

On X570 there exists the mediocre Biostar X570GT, significantly worse than the Pro4 MSI B450 MAX boards... certain non-MAX models even feature a BIOS flashback to achieve third-gen compatibility without needing an outdated CPU for a BIOS update. After acquiring their third-gen BIOS, there are no major issues except the absence of PCIe 4.0. You might hope for the B550, but currently the best alternatives remain the B450.
