I simplified my selection to just the two boards you mentioned. From a design point of view, Crosshair stands out with its crosshair effect and lacks USB 2.0 ports – which is fine since Master doesn’t have them. At Master, performance is lacking... Who would install USB 2.0 in 2019? The Crosshair side has no Wi-Fi, but that’s not a big deal for me. I’ll look into RaisonJohn’s specs sheet, though it’s just theory. In your view, which board shines better – VRM quality, cooling efficiency, future upgrade potential? Also, note my RAM is Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB with 3200MHz and two 8GB modules. The price difference isn’t huge. Just share the pros and cons from my experience, thanks.

500 euros for the Wi-Fi upgrade, that’s quite a lot of cash for a X570 board.

Hello, this could be useful: Around 4 minutes he evaluates both options—3min50 Master and 5min20 Hero.

It seems you're seeking clarity on why this discussion is the fourth one about the X570 series. Many threads offered helpful advice, so why another one? Consider getting a different model like the Tomahawk or Prime X570-Pro, or opt for a 3600/3800MHz build instead of tweaking VRM phases. Unless you're specifically aiming to overclock, sticking with your current setup might be more practical.

It depends on your system and usage. Higher clock speeds can improve performance for certain tasks but may not always matter if your hardware and software are optimized for them.

It's important to run the FCLK at a higher frequency for better performance with Ryzen processors. A 1900MHz FCLK paired with 3800MHz memory pushes most Zen 2 chips, while 1800MHz with 3600MHz memory is achievable on many devices. Going beyond that reduces efficiency, shifting the ratio from perfect balance to a less favorable 2:1, which causes significant latency issues.

Running the CPU with 3200MHz modules isn't an issue at all.

I don’t understand the USB setup, so Master has usb 3.2 ports on the I/O which feels strange. These four usb 2.0 ports are really bad, why didn’t they choose 3.0? But then again, I use a printer, mouse, keyboard and I can connect to usb 2.0 ports, yet there are only two available for 400 euros—it’s not great.
