I just received this motherboard and I'm not very experienced with overclocking yet. (still learning a bit)
the cpu performed as expected, no problems at all.
however, when i tried to activate the ram profile (docp?/xmp/etc), it didn't boot.
i've tried:
- reducing ram frequency will allow booting on lower speeds than 3000mhz. (will run cinebench, won't crash aida64, but crashes once 3dmark starts)
- i gradually increased the voltage for lower frequencies just to check if it could run outside stock settings (that's not possible)
- the bios is up-to-date
besides that, i haven't adjusted any other ram settings (i usually just enable xmp and leave it alone).
can someone help me figure out what to do? my ram is 3200mhz gskill tridentz (if that's useful).

You might consider refreshing the board's BIOS or lowering RAM speed. There was no significant improvement in performance between 3000 and 3200.
