Hey everyone, do you have any advice? I set up a new system yesterday using a Ryzen 5 3600. The Wraith stock cooler seems to be fluctuating in RPM, which is bothering me. It worked fine when I first turned it on this morning, but now I have to unplug and plug in the old cooler again to clear out dust and get things running smoothly. The motherboard is an AORUS Elite.
It aligns with the fan curve defined in your BIOS, based on core temperatures. Your choices are: buy a superior cooler, modify the fan curve, or go with the default setting. Running hotter chips is acceptable. Undervolting is optional and won’t change much. It works well with standard coolers but isn’t extraordinary.
I managed it by tweaking the fan curves. I glanced at Ryzen Master and thought about giving up. Sounds tough at first, but I’m sure it gets simpler with practice. Thanks!
