Upstairs configuration: dell optiplex (i7 2600, 16gb ram, rx 580 4gb, 240 ssd, 1tb blue, 75hz freesync panel)
Downstairs setup: i7-6700, gtx 1070, 16gb ram, 240 ssd 2tb wd red, 1440p 60hz panel
Consider transferring the 1070 to the 75hz freesync panel for more frequent use. The 580 system might manage light gaming, but a full upgrade to 1440p 144hz isn't feasible at the moment.

The 580 supports 1440p when performance remains stable, handling mostly medium to sometimes high detail based on the game.
