As discussed in the previous message, I would prefer to retain this GPU for installation on another PC. It could enhance that system's performance and replace an outdated PowerColour AMD HD7950/R9 200 Series graphics card (3GB).

Starting this process, testing matched pairs ram... checking if the game will launch or if my PC is going to crash.

They are mismatched sticks, and there are no guarantees that this will work without issues. If you need more memory capacity, replacing the RAM with a matched kit is best to avoid problems.

Yes, they seem mismatched. I reinstalled the 24GB again as it was always that way. I had been running smoothly with those configurations for years without any problems. (I don't think the crashes are due to RAM anymore.) Tested!
I did all the work swapping out the PSUs last night, and I can still play some games while checking the PC's stability now.
Could it be that my Antec HCG EXTREME was the issue causing crashes under load?
Edit: I'm using a different PSU from another PC in this one, which has made the other PC temporarily unusable. The unit is a Coolermaster V 1000 PSU, rarely used except for office tasks on that machine. Still testing stability now, even with GPU settings at turbo. Playing games for testing.
If these results are promising, I might proceed with the next steps for the rebuild-upgrade!

If you replaced the PSU and the system is no longer crashing, then it might be related to the SID's note about the PSU affecting your Vega graphics card.

This was my first idea, after installing the other PSU everything worked well for most of the day since last night. I even checked the graphics card settings on all power levels through the AMD control panel, and gaming ran smoothly. Then I tried the power saver mode for the Vega RX 64 just to see how it affected performance. For a short time I hadn’t played much, but after ten minutes a kernel-power 41 crash occurred—black screen, but the system kept running with fans spinning at full speed. When I pressed the power button again, the PC booted up normally.

In reality, I didn’t spend much time using the machine compared to what it should have been able to do given its quality.
I really need someone’s help to figure out why this is happening. Please let me know if anyone has any ideas—what could be wrong with this PC?

If it isn't the power supply unit, the next probable culprit is likely the graphics card.

I initially thought so... It could have gotten quite intense, but it seems the problem wasn’t that severe. After testing the GPU in another rig, it didn’t crash there during that setup. However, it did fail when I reinstalled the GPU in this machine, even after reinstalling the latest legacy driver from AMD. The crashes persisted afterward. This morning, without making any changes, I tried a random game to trigger the issue and check the GPU driver. When I quit the game and examined the driver, it reported 0% fan speed. I then reinstalled the driver and restarted the PC, but the fans still didn’t come up to full speed. After another restart and reinstalling the AMD driver with the control panel, the PC appeared to function normally again.

In the meantime, I ran several performance tests: 4K without crashes, a Prime95 test with no issues, and Cinebench 24 also crash-free.

If the stability holds, I’ll re-test the other PSU first—just to confirm the crashes haven’t returned since the updates.

I found a better result after reinstalling the GPU drivers once more.
The build, tested and rebuilt, seems to indicate that all my PC components are still functioning properly, and it might be unnecessary to purchase additional parts beyond a GPU upgrade.
