I’m preparing to replace my motherboard from an MSI B350 Tomohawk with an ASUS Strix B450-F. The MSI board offers limited upgrade options, so I’m curious about future compatibility and hardware support. After some investigation, I’m seeking guidance on whether my Windows license will carry over and how to proceed. Your help would be really valuable.

To confirm it works, simply verify the connection to your Microsoft account, and it should move automatically.

They all share the same driver, which means no issues should arise. If problems occur, simply reinstalling should fix it.

Check if you possess an OEM license. I understand such a license won't transfer, which matches what my own didn't experience.
