So... basically i got a problem. Few weeks ago I bought a XFX R9 390 8GB card. In general I am very pleased with the card. But when i play World of Warcraft WoD, my frame rates is kinda.. buggerish. I am running on 3200x1800(wide) and all the settings are on ultra, although i disabled Vsync. But my FPS is around 30 in a dungeon or a raid ? When i go to lower resolutions, there is no difference at all. Now I reinstalled the new drivers of AMD, clean install of wow. But my FPS is still around 30. Weird thing is, some of my guildies are still running on HD7850, or HD7770 etc, but they all have atleast 30 fps more then me in 1920x1080. Have i missed something with my card ? its not oc`d. Any ideas on what i should or could do to make sure my games (wow etc) have more FPS then what i have now. Specs are: P8Z77-Pro M I7-3770k XFX R9 390 8GB 8GB DDR3 on 1333 (from corsair) Psu 730 watt (Aerocool) 2x BenQ GL2250H (3200x1800@60Hz) Kind Regards Bulf

Seems like the CPU is struggling? Check the processor usage during dungeons—it looks like that’s the issue.

MMORPGs often face issues with AMD drivers, this seems to be a frequent problem. It's not always consistent, but there are times when the game slows down or the frame rate drops significantly.

The CPU isn't fully loaded at all. It seems to handle about 20% maximum capacity, while memory usage reaches around 45%.

You should examine one central component, as it seems WoW isn't designed to operate across several cores.

WoW relies mostly on the CPU, so check your GPU utilization. If it stays high—around 95-100%—something else is limiting performance. Monitoring CPU usage alone isn’t trustworthy; try overclocking and see if speed improves.

The signal is at 1600 MHz, which isn't typical for gaming.

The card performance falls within 97% to 100% according to the catalyst program.
