Hi everyone! I recently purchased my first HDR monitor and have been using it, but I've noticed an issue. After enabling HDR in Windows or within a game, my recording software like GeForce Experience and Medal recordings appear overly bright and washed out. I think the problem might be that these programs aren't capturing HDR properly. Since I can't see or adjust the settings in either software and Google hasn't helped much, I'm wondering if anyone has any tips or solutions besides disabling HDR altogether. Thanks! The example image I shared reflects what I'm experiencing.

Open MediaInfo is available for download. Navigate to the press view and select the sheet option. Click the second dropdown menu showing resolution, display ratio, and frames per second, then scroll through the bottom options. If HDR is indicated, you’ll see details such as color primaries and transfer characteristics.

I’m unsure about ShadowPlay, but it seems to work. The main issue is a strange flickering that shows up during HDR recording.

Recording and tonemapping differ. To avoid manually converting all your clips to SDR, you need a tool that automatically adjusts the tone of HDR footage to SDR during capture. OBS version 28 offers this capability.
