The idea I had was that it focuses on the desktop rather than the screen itself, and considers every app called a "window," like games that aren't considered wins, while Chrome is treated as a desktop application. Just my take!

It's conceivable. A friend shared that it relates to hardware acceleration, which might explain the black screen when using the print screen in games, though I'm not sure if that's accurate.
