You might also look into a Ryzen 3600 in a B450/550 motherboard. It offers the chance to upgrade later to a 5800X3D.
How does the RX6600 XT or RX 6650XT compare in price to the 2060? I would pick the radeon card if it costs the same.
I've heard that AMD parts get too hot, so I'm using Intel and NVIDIA.
It's actually the reverse, at least for the CPU. The 3600 stays cooler compared to the 10700. The RX 6650XT and 6600XT are 150-180W cards, so they don't overheat as much.
