over the past while strange occurrences affected my internet, every 1-2 hours I face "dhcp" issues. only certain sites work, like YouTube or my anime site, but anything else is blocked completely—no Steam, no uplay, no Discord, except for Google services which function normally. at first I assumed it was my Wi-Fi stick, so I set up a range extender or WDS bridge to boost the signal to the main router, which now consistently shows 90% uptime without drops. the main router seems unaffected since the person using it is working fine. i tried various commands like ipconfig /renew, /ip reset, manual IP settings on the extender, and restarted everything. i’m unsure what else to try. anyone else facing similar problems or know a solution? i even considered using a VPN, but it didn’t help.

It's not DHCP, it's DNS—probably. Consider using a fixed IP with static DNS entries at 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 (Google DNS).
