You can see at about 2:09 minutes that the game cant even maintain 60 fps on a heavily oced watercooled 290x. Keep in mind this game runs at 60 fps on the 7790 equivalent on the xbox one. What a god damned disgraced and a slap on the face for pc gamers where the franchise began. Great optimization on the consoles , complete mess on the pc . The game has also ghastly pop-in and horrible stuttering. EditTongueosted on the wrong board damn , wanted to post this on pc gaming if some mod could move it i would appreciate it.

It might be due to the PC using higher quality textures, making it more demanding. Wolfenstein the New Order consumes a lot of VRAM, and texture issues often appear when VRAM runs low. It isn't completely optimized, but it's not overly inefficient either.

I don't understand what you're referring to—it performed well on my PC while I played it. Perhaps the 60 FPS isn't accurate since it was a 30 FPS capture, and I was running at around 55 FPS. It might even run at 4K. He used a "stock to stock" comparison, and it wasn't overclocked at all.

The 290x features 4 GB of VRAM, which should be sufficient. Joking aside, it fell to 44 fps, and the monitor isn’t large enough for 4K resolution.

You probably missed the /s part. There are commercially available 24-inch 4K monitors.
